Ceramic Cookware Thermal Shock Resistance Tester
Published: 10/11/2025
The SQ006P tester evaluates the thermal shock resistance of ceramic cookware by heating and rapid cooling while monitoring base temperature with an infrared imaging system. It supports automated test cycles to improve accuracy and throughput for quality control and research.
Product Description
The SQ006P is designed to assess the thermal stability of ceramic cookware by subjecting samples to controlled high-temperature exposure followed by rapid cooling in a temperature-controlled water bath. A compact point-tracking infrared thermal imager continuously measures and visualizes the temperature across the cookware base, ensuring uniform heating and precise monitoring throughout each cycle.
The system integrates a high-power gas-fired combustion furnace with forced exhaust for fast, even surface heating, an automated feeding mechanism, and a recirculating thermostatic water tank with refrigeration to minimize water usage. Temperature indication and control for both furnace and bath are handled via an MCGS touch screen controller, enabling set-and-repeat automated cycles according to predefined test counts for consistent, repeatable results.
