Product Description

The STD-B Dielectric Constant and Loss Tester integrates a high-frequency Q meter, S916 test fixture, data acquisition with automatic tanδ control, an LKI-1 inductor set, and an optional liquid cup for testing liquid materials. It provides automated search of resonance points and direct readout of frequency, inductance, capacitance, Q value, and tuned components, enabling efficient characterization of dielectric properties across a broad frequency span.

Typical applications include evaluation of insulating materials, ceramics, polymers, and liquids where accurate high-frequency dielectric constant and loss measurements are required for quality control, material development, and compliance testing. The system’s precision mechanics and low-loss fixture design support thin to moderately thick specimens with adjustable electrode spacing and micrometer-resolution thickness control.
