The GHC-II-10 measures the specific heat capacity of solid materials at mid-range temperatures using the mixing (drop) calorimetry method. It is suited for research and teaching applications and conforms to GJB330A-2000 testing standards.
Product Description
The GHC-II-10 Mid-Temperature Specific Heat Capacity Tester automates determination of specific heat capacity for solids across controlled temperatures by employing the mixing method. Samples are heated in a vertical tube resistance furnace to the target temperature and then dropped into a calorimeter; the system records the temperature-time profiles of both the sample and calorimeter to compute specific heat.
The system integrates a tube-type vertical resistance furnace, thermostat, temperature controller, high-precision thermometer, calorimeter, and a computer-based data acquisition and analysis suite. For oxidation-prone samples at elevated temperatures, an inert atmosphere (argon) or a vacuum protection setup is recommended. The instrument is designed for laboratories conducting materials research and education and complies with GJB330A-2000.
