Dilatometry & Thermal ExpansionGlass

Vertical Double-Tube Dilatometer

The instrument measures the coefficient of thermal expansion of glass with a vertical double-tube dilatometer. It provides selectable furnace temperatures to 1,000 °C, 1,400 °C, or 1,600 °C, settable heating rates of 0.1–20 K/min, computer recording, and single- or double-pushrod configurations.

Model
PZY-III
Category
Dilatometry & Thermal Expansion

Product Description

The vertical double-tube configuration accepts solid or powdered specimens with quartz or alumina supports. Single- or double-pushrod operation is available, and the control computer modifies test parameters through its user interface.

The system controls temperature, records expansion, and provides automatic data output, experiment archiving, and retrieval.
