Asphalt Bending Beam Rheometer (BBR)

The LWL asphalt bending beam rheometer measures the flexural creep stiffness or compliance of asphalt binders using the AASHTO T 313-04 bending-beam rheometer method. It is intended for low-temperature testing of unaged binders and binders conditioned by RTFOT (AASHTO T 240) and/or PAV (AASHTO R 28).

Product Description

The LWL is designed for the AASHTO T 313-04 bending-beam rheometer method and measures the flexural creep stiffness or compliance of asphalt binders. Test materials include unaged binders and binders conditioned by RTFOT (AASHTO T 240) and/or PAV (AASHTO R 28) procedures. The system comprises high- and low-temperature thermostatic baths, a lever loading mechanism, a data-acquisition system, and a computer data-processing system.

The supplied configuration includes a test host with embedded touchscreen test software, operating instructions, a temperature-controller manual, and specimen molds. This page is a configuration overview; obtain a verified model-specific datasheet confirming the loading-force range and beam-fixture configuration before technical selection.
