Wall Heat-Transfer Coefficient Tester
The DRX-I-BX uses the heat-box method to measure the heat-transfer coefficient of walls and building components, with a heated box simulating indoor conditions and the opposite side exposed to natural outdoor conditions. It maintains the heat-box temperature at least 8 K above the outdoor temperature and calculates the coefficient from balanced heat input and recorded data.

Product Description
A heat box on the interior side simulates a heated indoor environment while the opposite side remains under natural outdoor conditions. At equilibrium, heat flows from indoors to outdoors and the heat-box heating input represents the transferred heat.
The heat box uses polystyrene-core sandwich color-coated steel panels and locking casters. Universal joints and a threaded locking mechanism connect the clamps. The system uses PID control, computer-controlled testing, automated analysis and report generation, and digital temperature sensors. Confirm the applicable temperature-accuracy basis, wall assembly, and test conditions for the configured system before ordering.
