Product Description
The analyzer measures dynamic elastic modulus and damping by striking a specimen and detecting its fundamental resonance frequency with an accelerometer. It references ASTM C215, ASTM C666, SL 352-2006, DL/T 5150-2001, and DL/T 536-2006, and connects to a computer for automated test analysis.
The measured spectrum is stored and displayed on the computer. Fast Fourier transform identifies resonance peaks, and the system automatically calculates maximum amplitude and displays frequency. The same specimen can be tested repeatedly over an extended period, reducing the number of specimens required for monitoring.
