Concrete Linear Coefficient of Thermal Expansion Tester
The XPD-06D tester measures the linear coefficient of thermal expansion of concrete and can also test asphalt using a differential resistance strain gauge and a constant-temperature water tank. It accepts laboratory-molded specimens and field-drilled cores for engineering quality inspection, teaching, and research.

Product Description
The XPD-06D measures the linear coefficient of thermal expansion of concrete and can also be used with asphalt, laboratory-molded specimens, and field-drilled cores. The instrument is specified for DL/T 5150-2001, SL 3562-2006, and DL/T 536-2006 hydraulic-concrete and hydraulic-asphalt-concrete testing procedures.
An automatic stirred constant-temperature water tank tests one specimen at a time, with the water level approximately 50 mm above the top of the specimen cylinder. Cooling rate is controlled by a refrigeration unit. Displacement is measured with a differential resistance strain gauge, and a digital bridge measures the resistance-strain value; a long-stem thermometer provides 0–100 °C measurement with a 0.1 °C display resolution.
