Crucible Resistance Furnace
The SG2 Crucible Resistance Furnace automatically controls crucible heating for melting tests of ceramic, glass, enamel-abrasive, inorganic-pigment, alloy, and composite materials. Selectable crucible capacities are 1,000 mL and 2,000 mL, with selectable maximum temperatures of 1,000 °C, 1,200 °C, 1,350 °C, or 1,600 °C.

Product Description
The SG2 furnace is intended for melting tests of frit glaze, glass, low-temperature flux, enamel glaze, and binders in ceramic, glass, enamel-abrasive, and inorganic-pigment work. It can also be used for melting and physicochemical testing of alloys and composite materials, including small-scale production use.
Raw material is charged through the top of the crucible. After melting, the material flows through the lower opening into cold water for rapid cooling and fragmentation.
