Specific Heat Capacity

High-Temperature Specific Heat Capacity Tester for Solid Materials

The GHC-II uses the method of mixtures to measure the specific heat capacity of solid specimens at set temperatures, with computer acquisition of specimen and calorimeter temperature changes. It is intended for specific-heat-capacity testing of solid materials in research and teaching laboratories.

Product Description

The GHC-II uses the method of mixtures: a solid specimen is heated in a vertical tubular furnace and then transferred to a calorimeter, while computer acquisition records specimen and calorimeter temperature changes to determine specific heat capacity.

Ordering information: Specify the heating element and temperature envelope, atmosphere or vacuum protection, specimen geometry, calorimeter and control configuration, and current software platform when requesting a quotation.
