The DRX-I-PB(PC) measures the thermal conductivity of plastics, glass, fibers, and foams by the guarded hot plate method. It is intended for material-testing, research, quality-control, and higher-education laboratories and can be configured with water-bath or DRX-I-PC heating and optional thermal-resistance or heat-flow-meter setups.

Product Description

The guarded hot plate configuration covers plastics, glass, fibers, and foams. GB/T 3392-82 and GB/T 3139-2005 are referenced, with GB/T 10801.1 and GB/T 10801.2 also listed for insulation-foam materials. Optional thermal-resistance and heat-flow-meter configurations are associated with GB/T 10295-1988, ISO/DIS 8301, and EN 12667; verify the applicable method, standard, and hardware for the selected variant.

The water-bath configuration has an 80 °C hot plate and a cold plate cooled below room temperature; the DRX-I-PC configuration has a heater-controlled hot plate below 300 °C and optional cold-side cooling to −20 °C. The DRX-I-PC configuration can be fitted for single- or dual-specimen testing, and specimen options are 200 × 200 mm with 5–20 mm thickness or 300 × 300 mm with 5–50 mm thickness.
