A thermal conductivity meter is used to measure the thermal conductivity of homogeneous, plate-like materials such as foamed concrete, mortar, plastics, rubber, glass, fibers, polystyrene boards, extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards, hollow glass, wood panels, and various insulation materials. It can also test granular, loose, and soft materials. These instruments are widely applied in manufacturers of heat-resistant and insulation materials, quality inspection and energy-efficiency testing agencies, as well as universities and research institutes.
