The high-temperature specific heat capacity tester uses the method of mixtures and computer-based measurement to determine the specific heat capacity of solid materials at different temperatures. It is used in research and teaching for studies of solid-material specific heat capacity.

The system comprises a vertical tubular resistance furnace, thermostat, temperature controller, high-precision thermometer, calorimeter, and computer data-acquisition system.

During testing, the specimen is heated in the tubular furnace to the target temperature and then transferred to the calorimeter. The computer system records the temperature changes of both the specimen and calorimeter to determine the material’s specific heat capacity. High-temperature, oxidation-sensitive specimens require the specified vacuum configuration.

1) Temperature range: room temperature to 1,400 °C.

2) Temperature-control accuracy: ±0.3 K per 30 minutes (dependent on settings).

3) Minimum temperature resolution: 0.01 K.

4) Heating method: resistance wire or molybdenum wire.

6) Full-process computer data acquisition.

7) Vacuum capability: calorimeter < 2 × 10⁻³ Pa; heater < 5 Pa (configured according to specimen).

9) Specimen size: 11 mm diameter × 30 mm high; powders use a standard specimen cup.

10) The test principle references military standards GJB 330A-2000 and GJB 1715-93.
