Carbon Fiber Insulation Felt Thermal Conductivity Tester

Published: 4/1/2025

High-temperature heat flow meter system for measuring the thermal conductivity of low-conductivity materials such as carbon-based refractories, carbon fiber felts, composites, and insulation bricks/boards. Designed for laboratory research and quality control with automated testing compliant with GB/T 10295 and related standards.

Product Description

The DRX-II-SPB is a high-temperature thermal conductivity tester based on the heat flow meter method. It is engineered for low-conductivity materials including carbon fiber insulation felts, carbon-containing refractories, refractory ceramic fiber products, composites, and other insulation materials.

The system automates test execution, data acquisition, and display of state points via dedicated analysis software, while also allowing manual operation when required. It supports controlled atmosphere or vacuum testing, uses an imported high-temperature heat flux sensor at the cold side, and employs an 1800-class tungsten-molybdenum rod heater, meeting the precision demands of materials testing laboratories.

Reference and applicable standards include GB/T 10295 and industry standards such as GB/T 17911.8-2002 (Refractory ceramic fiber products) and YB/T 4130-2005 (Refractory materials).
