Thermal Conductivity Meter (Heat Flow Method)

Published: 6/3/2025

The DRH300 series measures thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of insulating boards, soils, ceramics, plastics, and similar materials using a dual heat-flow sensor, steady-state method. It supports automated temperature control, data acquisition, analysis, and report generation in compliance with ASTM C518, ISO 8301, and GB/T 10295 standards.

Product Description

The DRH300 thermal conductivity meter is designed for fast, repeatable measurement of low to moderate conductivity materials using the steady-state heat flow method. Dual heat-flow sensors and precise plate temperature control enable rapid stabilization and short test cycles suitable for QC and process control.

The system automates plate movement, thickness measurement, temperature programming, data acquisition, and analysis, streamlining sample preparation and testing. Typical applications include building insulation, filled and powdered materials, gypsum and fiber boards, rubber, plastics, ceramics, and other solid materials within the stated conductivity range.

Depending on measurement objectives, users may terminate tests once stable heat flow is achieved or extend the run for additional averaging. Testing conforms to major international standards, ensuring comparability and reliability of results across laboratories and production environments.
